We have a great opportunity for a Finance Officer to join our team in supporting the delivery of complete and accurate Service Charge information to our residents and internal stakeholders. Service Charges cover the costs of maintaining communal areas for properties and can be quite varied depending on the property and type of services provided.
We're all working from home right now, but when we do start safely returning to the office, your base location will be in our Basingstoke office.
Working collaboratively across the team, your role will include:
- Planning, scheduling and delivering service charge statements to residents
- Collating and analysing a variety of data, checking for accuracy and exploring any anomalies
- Completing appropriate reconciliations and controls throughout the team's processes
- Understanding and providing resolutions to complex queries from residents, internal departments and external parties
This is a busy role and you'll need to take a logical and organised approach to your workload. You should be able to demonstrate strong analytical skills with good experience in Excel and have a high attention to detail. It's important that you're able to build effective relationships with internal colleagues as well as our residents, working collaboratively to ensure queries are dealt with quickly.
Previous experience in a finance role would be advantageous however it's not essential to have prior knowledge of service charges as full training will be provided.
