We have a great opportunity to join the Safety, Health and Environment Team as a Risk Manager on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.
Essentially the role of risk management is to identify potential problems before they occur and have a plan for addressing them. Risk management looks at the internal and external risks and opportunities that could impact (positively or negatively) on the organisation.
The Risk Manager will:
communicate risk policies, processes and guidance across the Group
provide hands-on development of risk strategy
assure controls are operating effectively.
coordinate, implement, and maintain plans to achieve objectives
travel and work away from home on a periodic basis
In order to do the role, you will need:
Educated to degree level
Certificate in Risk Management IRM or equivalent
IRM Diploma in Risk Management or equivalent would be desirable
Broad risk management experience
Experience with auditing and reporting procedures
Knowledge of risk assessment and control
Experience of working with insurance companies
Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations (e.g. Health and Safety Legislation, Data Protection etc)
