The School of Hair, Beauty, Catering and Creative are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person to join their team working term time only.

The successful candidate will be part of the curriculum team, working alongside teaching staff to support learning. The role requires a proactive individual to provide practical support to the staff and students in classrooms.

Based at our Luton campus, this role is for 2 days per week working Monday and Tuesday with a start date of January 2021. Experience working with young adults would be advantageous, as would an understanding of booking systems and reception work.

You may be required to manage some stock and demonstrate correct and safe use of equipment to students and staff. This could include booking and allocating equipment, maintaining it or preparing it for planned practical use in lessons.

The successful candidate will promote professionalism and excellent customer service at all times. You will have a good practical knowledge of the hairdressing and beauty environment. Furthermore, supporting learners with developing reception and stock control and displays.

It is essential that you have a professional manner, good communication skills and are capable of interpreting technical information and explaining it clearly.

We intend to hold interviews on Friday 6 November 2020.

The successful candidates will join the School of Hair, Beauty, Catering and Creative reporting to Head of School Nadine Beck.
