Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by a new and popular secondary school in West Essex to assist them in finding a qualified Maths Teacher to join their hard-working team of staff. The school could welcome someone after half term or from January, either on a full or part time basis. This is an ongoing requirement with the school looking to offer a temporary to permanent arrangement.
As a new school, an Ofsted inspection is yet to be completed. However, the school is part of highly successful Trust with many schools being graded as 'Good to/or Outstanding'. The Headteacher is also extremely complimentary of their pupils' behaviour and attitudes towards learning. Stating students are polite and courteous and eager to learn. There are minimal discipline or behaviour issues and they are a joy to teach.
As they have only recently opened, the successful Maths Teacher will be teaching KS3 only. The hands on Headteacher has put most plans in place so the focus is solely on the delivery of engaging lessons and ensuring students have the solid foundations to build upon. The school also has a huge emphasis on staff wellbeing. Although their school day finishes slightly later, meetings are minimal, and staff are allocated plenty of time throughout the day to offer a suitable working balance.
The successful Maths Teacher will be:
Familiar and confident with the planning and delivery of lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
A committed and reliable teacher dedicated to the role.
Consistently motivated to deliver engaging lessons to a high standard.
An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills.
A positive and personable role model for their class.
The school is easily accessible by car and public transport. There is amble park onsite for staff and it's located a short walk from a nearby train station. Current staff commute from Essex as well as Hertfordshire and North London boroughs.
