We are urgently seeking a creative and highly literate Bid Manager to work with an Events, PR and Marketing agency based in Central London. Our client, who provide services and solutions to industries such as broadcast, film, media, sport and AV wish to strengthen their market position even further by expanding their sales team.
This position will see you play a key role within the company's sales and new business function with you taking ownership of evaluating new business opportunities, creating compelling proposals and working with the team throughout the bid process to ensure deadlines are met and all documents best reflect the company's full capabilities and services. You will be pro-active in attending new business calls and meetings whilst also responding to incoming new business enquiries ensuring proposals and pitches are seen through to completion. In addition, you will attend industry events and networking meetings to identify new leads as well as building and maintaining existing relationships.
To be successful in this position, you will have demonstrable experience in bid writing and creating proposals alongside an extensive vocabulary and high attention to detail. Previous experience working within a busy, deadline driven business environment with the ability to work autonomously is important. A background of working within the media and entertainment industry would be highly advantageous.
