We are looking for 2 Temporary Manufacturing Technicians to work until the end of March 2021 for a team based just north of Cambridge. We are looking for experienced, reliable candidates who would like to work on exciting technologies in a friendly environment.

Due to current government guidelines, the team are working on a shift rota:
Week 1: Mon, Tues, Fri & Sat
Week 2: Wed & Thurs
Hours: 7am - 6pm, one 15 morning break, 30 min lunch and a 15 min afternoon break. This equates to 30 hours per week

You'll be working as part of a close-knit team; this role will see you taking responsibility for:

* Assembly of electro-mechanical sub-systems (e.g. robotic joints) following manufacturing instructions
* Testing / commissioning of integrated electro-mechanical assemblies using pre-defined instructions
* Assembly and test of integrated robotic and other sub-systems
* Supporting the testing / commissioning / debugging of integrated sub-systems, including documentation.

What We're Looking For:

* An NVQ / BTEC qualification, and at least 5 GCSEs at grade C+
* At least 2-3 years' experience building high-tech products ideally within a regulated environment, such as medical/pharmaceutical or aerospace
* Keen to participate in a variety of tasks including, goods-in inspection, stock control and manufacture
* A careful approach to assembly, lab and tool use
* Able to keep accurate records, in line with cGMP
* Cable assembly skills (use of crimp tools, wire cutters and associated hand tools)
* Experience using test/measurement equipment such as bench power supplies, multi-meters and oscilloscopes
* Good written English is essential
* Microsoft Office suite tools, including Excel
