Are you a registered manager in an adult care setting or do you have recent experience in this role?

Would you like to develop the next generation of registered managers and help drive improvements in local adult care settings?

We are one of the highest performing colleges nationally on all courses at all levels, rated Ofsted 'Outstanding' and a TEF Gold provider.

Truro and Penwith College has worked in partnership with local care settings and Cornwall Council to develop this exciting new programme, which will combine face to face and remote delivery. The successful applicant will be supported by the College's Reach project to explore innovative delivery methods and to secure involvement from sector experts.

This role may fit alongside a part time registered managers position, as the roles would be complementary. The candidate would be employed for two fixed days a week, however there would be some flexibility which may help candidates to meet the demands of this role and potentially other roles they fulfil.

The successful applicant will be expected to provide high quality teaching and assessment and must hold either a teaching or assessing qualification and be prepared to gain qualifications as required. Experience in quality assurance and curriculum development would be an advantage.

A full clean driving licence and your own transport is essential as this role will include visits to employers and apprentices in the workplace, although these are currently being carried out remotely.

Job Description

We offer a generous package with benefits including 40 days annual leave (academic) and up to 28 days (Support roles) plus bank holidays and College closure days, teacher pension scheme or LGPS, relocation package, free on-site parking and a variety of on-site benefits and discounts.

CLOSING DATE: 12 NOON, FRIDAY 30 OCTOBER 2020
Curriculum Vitae are not accepted, Application Forms only.
Successful candidates will be notified within 4 weeks of the closing date.
