Customer service & Marketing Assistant



This new exciting position presents an opportunity to get involved with various marketing and administrative duties within a fast growing group of companies.

This post offers an excellent opportunity to progress within the business.

The successful candidate will be working with the marketing and customer services managers, as well as, working with many forms of advertising and marketing projects to generate more business and enhance the companies online and offline presence, including providing administrative support to the wider business.

The role will involve working within a small team of 4 to 6 managers who possess a wealth experience within their specialist fields so the opportunity to learn is immense.

Responsibilities and Duties:

. Assisting in organising campaigns and developing marketing strategies.

. Undertake daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the Company's activities.

. Support co-workers in organising various projects.

. Conduct market research and analyse consumer rating reports / questionnaires.

. Engagement in marketing analytics techniques to gather important data (Social media, web analytics, rankings etc).

. Update Spreadsheets, databases and inventories with statistical, financial and non-financial information.

. Assist in the organising of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns and attend them to facilitate their success.

. Prepare and deliver promotional presentations.

. Compose and post online content on the company's website and social media accounts.

. Write marketing literature (brochures, press releases etc) to increase the company's presence in the market.

. Communicate directly with clients and encourage trusting relationships.

Essential Skills and experience:

. Experience as a marketing assistant or relative qualifications

. Understanding of marketing principles.

. Ability to multi-task and adhere to deadlines.

. Well organised with a customer-orientated approach.

. Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)

. Exquisite communication and people skills


. Qualifications in Business and / or in Marketing.

. Knowledge of market research techniques and databases.

. Experience in marketing software and relative online applications (including CRM tools, online analytics, Google Ad Words)

. Full UK Driving Licence

Working hours: Full time. 9am - 5pm - Monday to Friday with a rolling rota working, 2 Saturdays per month - 9am - 1pm
