Senior Procurement Manager South Yorkshire NHS Organisation £23.66 per hour PAYE or £29.55 per hour Umbrella
An NHS Trust in South Yorkshire is looking for a new Procurement professional to join them to take responsibility for leading high-value and complex tenders and contracts for goods and services, achieving the most economically advantageous outcomes for the trust and to develop strategies to meet the procurement needs of specialist product/service categories and the Trust as a whole. This will involve operating effective information systems to ensure data is easily accessible and be used to add value when making decisions.
In order to be successful in an application for this role it is required that you have a Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply Diploma (MCIPS), or degree in business-related subject as well as public sector experience and desirable that this is NHS experience.
The role duties include; *To provide procurement and supply chain services to all Directorates/Divisions within the Trust *To deliver measurable savings from revenue expenditure to support the Trust Cost Improvement Programmes *To develop internal supply chain processes to the benefit of other Departments *To competently be able to negotiate the best outcomes and cost savings for the Trust in line with OJEU
