Senior Paraplanning Manager

Location: Goudhurst

Main Duties:

You will be leading our Paraplanning team of two with the intention of increasing to a team of three in the future.

You will be responsible for ensuring the business generated by our Wealth Managers who you will be working alongside; is processed correctly and in a timely manner.

Tasks include:

Conducting fact finds, collating client information and preparing suitability letters.

You will need to develop good relationships with product providers to assist you in the preparation of suitability letters.

You will prepare illustrations and reports for client meetings.

Manage all ongoing cases to completion within your team.

Provide training and support to your team in the preparation of suitability letters; amongst other paraplanning tasks to increase their existing technical knowledge and skills.

Maintain the technical knowledge necessary to assess the suitability of advice across the range of products and services offered by the business.

Previous Experience:

You will have a proven track record as a paraplanner within a wealth management business with broad technical experience and supervisory responsibilities. 3+ years experience required.

Level 4 Diploma qualified in Financial Planning desirable.

Strong Technical knowledge and a good understanding of the current regulatory environment and the full range of investments, pensions, retirement solutions and protection business.

Personal Skills:

Must be organised and able to work under own initiative.

Ability to build and develop effective working relationships with good people skills.

Strong communicator with confidence to approach the advisers when suggesting other possibilities and solutions with their cases.

Approachable, and have a positive attitude.

Ability to work under pressure and have excellent attention to detail.

Highly organised and excellent organisation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00 per year
