JOB TITLE: Accounts Manager

SALARY: £38,000 - £48,000

LOCATION: Long Bennington

CONTRACT: Permanent

An excellent opportunity has become available for an Accounts specialist to join this UK top 40 practice with offices across the country. Boasting a supportive leadership team built up of 43 Partners and Directors along with a team of 225 colleagues, our client has a highly regarded reputation within the industry. Throughout the current pandemic, this leading accountancy firm has opened new offices, successfully recruited talent and provided promotion opportunities to ambitious professionals.

Our client places it's employees at the forefront of its culture and offers both a good work-life balance and a positive social office culture. The client base is a healthy mix of larger corporates, groups and OMBs.

As the successful candidate, you will be directly supporting the Accounts Partner, managing their teams and on a range of interesting and growing audit clients. Experience of the supervision and training of members of staff is essential as is a hand's on approach to both client work and creating good working relationships with new and existing clients.

If you have the relevant Audit and Accounts technical experience, are ambitious and self-motivated with the desire to develop your career then this really is an excellent environment to develop your accounting career.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS REQUIRED
  • You will enjoy being client facing as well as attending prospect meetings and growing the client base further
  • Corporate tax knowledge is preferred though not essential
  • Supervising and assisting junior team members on audit engagements
  • Training and developing staff
  • Planning and delivery of audit/ accounts assignments
  • ACA, ACCA, QBE
