DevOps Engineer

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Type: Permanent

Salary: £35,000 to £45,000

An experience DevOps Engineer is required to help this talented team design and build a brand-new AWS Platform for a variety of greenfield projects they have coming up this year. You will be responsible for the development and support of the system tier in a DevOps environment for services across the entire company's enterprise, delivering a range of services. You will play an important role in our agile software release process while participating on projects, within a multi-disciplinary team, associated with release engineering, application deployment, system installation, monitoring, scripting, building schemas, application load testing and various automation tasks.

You will be involved building and enhancing the deployment support model and system tier to allow for continuous deployment and availability in a DevOps environment. You will be the go-to expert in delivering and supporting cloud environments with extensive knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools. You will not only put your own stamp on the platform but learn in demand skills such as Kubernetes from your teammates.
