KS1 Teacher for a Primary Pupil Referral Unit in Leyland (Maternity Cover)
We are looking for a KS1 Teacher to work from January 2021 to January 2022 on a year long maternity cover at a Pupil Referral Unit in Leyland. The school are looking for a strong teacher with excellent behaviour management and fantastic KS1 curriculum knowledge to teach in the school.
The school is a short stay school for children that have been taken out of mainstream education due to their challenging and disruptive behaviour. The school aims to provide a personalised and engaging delivery of the curriculum to engage the children back into their learning and whilst also positively influencing their behaviour.
The Ideal Teacher will have:
UK QTS or QTLS Status (Requirement).
Excellent KS1 Curriculum Knowledge.
Excellent classroom Management.
Good knowledge of Phonics.
Great communication skills.
A Child Only DBS on the Update Service OR Must be willing to get one.
