SEO Manager - Wakefield - £28k - £33k + benefits

Our client is a well-established digital agency that provide a range of services to their clients, due to continued growth and expansion we are looking for an SEO Manager to join their team.

Duties Include:
  • Leading and Supporting the wider SEO team
  • Identify, develop and manage the client's SEO strategy and campaigns to ensure sites are in line with best practice
  • Directing what needs to happen to improve the performance of clients
  • Ensure client websites are optimised and managed effectively in order to help to increase traffic, conversion and turnover
  • Undertake technical/content site audits
  • Identifying optimisation opportunities
  • Keyword research/tracking
  • Plan and implement creative link building to achieve the agreed KPI's
  • Evaluate the performance of campaigns using analytical tools in order to identify possible opportunities or issues
  • Manage website migrations
  • Monitor Google updates and possible impact on all client website
  • Perform SEO focussed analysis around industry, competitors and search trends to influence client strategy development
  • To assist the business with new proposals, helping to formulate new strategies for potential new clients.
  • Testing, researching and developing new SEO initiatives
  • Helping to develop the knowledge and abilities of the SEO team

Skills Required:
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of on-site & off-site SEO
  • A creative and strategic mind set to identify and resolve problems quickly
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work using their own initiative
  • Research topics and subjects
  • Experience of managing a small team of 2 people
  • Ability to stay up to date with the latest industry trends
  • Strong analytical ability and working knowledge of Google Analytics
