The Assistant Manager ensures the effective management and performance of the store; supervising and coaching the team members to guarantee an outstanding customer experience for every client, ensuring that company standards are maintained and providing feedback to the Store Manager on product, staffing and customer-related business matters as appropriate. As part of the Global store management team, the Deputy Manager is a key-holder for the boutique.
People Management Activities
Manages the department sales team.
Provides training to the sales department team, to maximise the department performance.
Conducts daily store meetings, as required.
Provides feedback to Store Manager on individual team members performance and conduct.
Develops and maintains a positive and motivational working environment.
With the Store Manager, defines and executes action plans for the sales team members, to achieve sales and KPI targets as assigned by the Store Manager Sales Activities
Manages performance of the department, following Store and Sales Manager guidelines.
Leads by example as a role model
Manages individual and team sales performance, to ensure sales budget is achieved. Customer Management.
Ensures a memorable luxury in-store service experience by monitoring the Sales team conduct and selling ceremony.
Manages customer complaints and queries, involving the Sales Manager where necessary to ensure that the issue is resolved. Product and Stock Management Activities
Provides relevant feedback on product and Line performances, to Sales and Store Managers. Store operations
Holds keys to the store and participate in shop opening and closure, in rotation with the Store Manager, Store operations Co-ordinator and Floor Managers, to ensure the security of company property.
Performs shop keeping activities as required, and lead by example to maintain the image of the store, according to company standards
Develops in-depth knowledge of the brands processes and procedures.
Performs cash and card transaction procedures, as relates to customer purchases when required.Candidate Profile
