Are you an experienced Project manager? Do you have experience leading teams of people in an oil/gas environment? If so... then this is the role for you!

An exciting opportunity has opened up with a lead automation company in hampshire. I am currently recruiting for a Software Control Systems Team Leader/Project Manager to look after a small team of 6 engineers, reporting into the regional leader, helping to deliver projects to the company's key accounts.

Main Responsibilities:

* whole life cycle of delivering projects from quoting to completion
* identify when gaps and overloads may exist in the team's workload
* Lead a team of engineers, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards
* Identify, manage and mitigate project risks
* Contract review/ negotiation
* Ensuring customers' expectations are clearly set out and met
* Attending site for Surveys / Client Meetings & Onsite working
* Review future project requirements/ identifying training & development opportunities for your team

Required Skills and Experience:

* Good Attitude, Adaptable, Resilient, Happy worker
* Contractual awareness
* Experience in an engineering environment
* leadership skills
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Build relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues
* Experience of managing control system, PLC and SCADA, type projects
* Understanding of PLC & SCADA Control systems
* Experience in Oil & Gas / Functional Safety systems desirable but not essential
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office incl. Word, Excel & Outlook
