Package:??£22,500 + 3% Flex Fund + 25 days + Bank holidays + 4% pension
Location: Newcastle
Contract: 12 month FTC

The Company
Established in 2013, SSCL (Shared Services Connected Limited), is a joint venture between Sopra Steria and the Cabinet Office.
SSCL are responsible for a large number of business transformation projects right across the UK government and public sector - the end goal is to achieve around £1billon worth of savings to the public purse.
We have an enviable track record in the design and delivery of large scale business support solutions including HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Procurement and Administration for our long list of clients including The Department for Work and Pensions, Environment Agency Department for Education, Ministry of Justice, Met Police and the Home Office.

The Day Job
SSCL are looking to recruit a Team Leader to support the Data Stewardship and HR queries for SSCL's client CITB. As part of the role you will be supporting and ensuring that the team adheres to the Service Level Agreements and delivers a quality service throughout.

Key Responsibilities
To be a Subject Matter Expert for the Data Stewardship Team
Build strong client relationships
Advise and mentor process assistants and handle more complex pieces of work.
Train and coach new members.
Undertake quality assurance for the team's work within own area of expertise and provide feedback to the team.
Provide ongoing maintenance and update of procedures and flow of information to process assistants.
Keep own knowledge of procedures up to date.
Run reports, extract data and analyse the data, as the service requires, often using spreadsheets and statistical techniques
Measure performance of the process assistants and feedback to operations management in own area. Conduct regular 121's, providing constructive feedback
Respond to, and resolve queries, taking action as appropriate and identify any preventative measures.
Support line manager and team members (training/coaching) as required.
Prioritise workloads.
Ensure that agreed timescales are adhered to.

Essential Skills
Managerial experience within administration/contact centre environment.
Numerate and able to process complex data
Good understanding of Microsoft office
Very good interpersonal skills
Able to use initiative and exercise sound judgment
Articulate and able to develop good working relationships with colleagues and clients
Able to coach and mentor junior members of a team

Desirable Skills
Very strong understanding of relevant ERP system e.g. Oracle
Flexible manner and approach
