Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive / Manager
Job Location: Durham
Salary: Up to £40k depending on experience

Our client is a large international retail organisation based in County Durham who are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing professional to join their growing digital marketing team.

To purpose of the role is to deliver the digital proposition and help drive growth in online profit and sales by delivering compelling digital product and marketing propositions and activities that make it easy for their customers to find and buy their products and services.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Initiate and execute digital marketing activities, through the identified channels, to increase repeat purchase, acquire new customers and drive increased sales in line with the budget and profit goals
- Manage key digital channels including PPC, social media, and display with the ability to optimise and grow our reach, presence, traffic, revenue and customer base
- Maintain and iteratively improve ongoing digital marketing activities to maximise category and product performance through ongoing analysis, using test and learn
- Contribute to the sales performance of the online channel by enhancing copy, design / visual, content, display advertising and product/category propositions
- Influencing and negotiating skills required to achieve goals with external agencies, partners and internal stakeholders
- 360 communication across all levels of the business - peers, managers and senior stakeholders on performance, initiatives and goals
- Use Google Analytics, Marketing Effectiveness Tool and internal reporting systems to identify trends, understand performance at both category and product level, to identify opportunities for growth
- Deliver digital activities on time to meet the approved objectives
- Manage activity to allocated budget to achieve sales and profitability targets at category and product level
- Optimise activity to improve CTR and CRO having a positive impact on return on advertising spend
- Identify new opportunities to increase reach and revenue, using test and learn
- Evaluate performance against our targets - e.g. CPC / CTR, CRO / sales / profit / ROAS
- Build relationships internally and externally, gaining buy in from key stakeholders and agency management

Essential Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years digital marketing experience, within an agency or client side
- A strong commercial understanding of what delivers successful digital activity, at product, category and campaign level
- A self starter with the ability to work on your own and with people at different levels across the business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to 'sell-in' multi-channel campaigns and strategies to the business at all levels
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to prioritise and work across multiple channels
- Creative thinker who will contribute new and innovative ideas
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- A sound understanding of budget management, focusing on spend, forecasting and planning
- Technologically savvy regarding the latest digital trends
- A strong and active team player

Desirable Skills:
- Proven experience in a B2B business with a good understanding of electrical product marketing
- Experience working with external agencies
