This Derbyshire based firm, a forward-thinking Conveyancing business are looking for a NQ Solicitor / Conveyancing Team Leader to join a busy team. The successful applicant will be working within a fast paced and progressive environment and be managing an established but growing friendly team.
Your duties will include but not limited to:
Advising and supporting with more complex conveyancing issues as they arise
Some hands-on transactional duties as an when required
Guiding and assisting members of the team with training on the job
Completing regular team member reviews and developing internal expertise
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and SLA requirements
Completing reporting and MI
This role arises as part of a wider strategic plan to grow and develop the department with solid technical expertise in place to provide support across all levels. You will be working closely with other Residential Conveyancing Fee Earners and Conveyancing Assistants and there is a real sense of everyone working together for the common goal.
The successful candidate may have come from a management background prior to qualifying as a Solicitor and experience of managing a team of Fee Earners specifically is not a requirement.
To be successful, you will already:
Be a Newly Qualified Conveyancing Solicitor
Have experience of working in a conveyancing role
Come with full knowledge of the conveyancing process from inception to closure
Have previous experience within a management role (ideally managing a small team)
Hours are between Monday and Friday, 37 Hours per week with a salary between £26,000 - £32,000pa
