An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Portering Transport Assistant Manager to join the team at the Royal Alexandra Hospital full-time permanently. Shifts for this post run Monday to Friday 9.00-5.00pm. This position will require occasional weekend working.
The post holder is a member of a responsive frontline service available 24/7 to the patients, staff and visitors of the hospital. You will be responsible for the management and provision of an efficient and effective portering service to patients, staff and visitors. This will include ensuring a flexible, integrated, and multi-skilled and team working approach to the delivery of this service - including financial performance, stock control, performance management, absense control and training.
The successful candidate will hold a qualificaton in Facilities (eg. City & Guilds 1/2, IMQ, HND or equivelent) with good practical operational experience, strong communication and organisational skills.
