Customs Clearance Clerk

REED Procurement & Supply Chain are currently working in partnership with a globally renowned logistics business who are now undertaking an exciting project, meaning that they are looking to recruit a Customs Clearance Clerk on an initial 6 month FTC. However, our client is very optimistic that this role will become a permanent post in the near future.

As Brexit is closing in, this role will be to ensure that the business is in line with new customs legislation and ensure all processes / procedures are met.

Duties of the role include:

• customs clearance processing
• import & export and Transit Movements
• updating registers
• customer relations
• reporting and monitoring customs data

Due to the nature of the role, the working hours for this position are on a rotational shift basis. To be considered for the role, our client is looking for candidates with:

• high attention to details
• strong MS Excel skills
• excellent communication skills
• previous customs clearance experience
