Marketing Executive required to join our well-established clients Colchester based office. As marketing executive, you will play a leading role in implementing the firms overall marketing and business development strategy. You will be required to efficiently and effectively lead on a range of marketing activities, with a strong focus on campaign development and management using a wide range of marketing channels to deliver a diverse range of personalised and valuable marketing campaigns. This will include direct marketing, social media, advertising, content marketing and events. It is essential for this Marketing Executive role that you possess previous experience in a similar role, ideally gained within a professional sector, have awareness of SEO and other website optimisation tools, some design experience, google analytics and most of all a positive attitude!

The Role

Managing the growth and development of social and digital marketing channels, ensuring all content is monitored and kept up to date
Creating, developing and delivering all marketing campaigns in line with the firm's objectives, both external and internal
Use Analytics to report back on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and social media activity
Website & social media content management
Research and review new marketing opportunities
Working closely with marketing agencies and partners to manage campaign delivery
Maintaining brand guidelines across all channels
Ongoing optimisation checks and reporting for SEO
Events coordination
Maintaining and managing the database of clients and contacts
Develop ideas to increase brand awareness
Working hours Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm
The Person

Must possess previous experience in a similar role, have solely been responsible for marketing campaigns
Awareness of effective SEO and other website optimisation tools
Any experience in design would be an advantage in applying for this role.
Experience using Google Analytics, running social media and Google Adwords campaigns
You will be analytical and curious in nature, and extremely organised with strong attention to detail.
Experience of working in the professional sector (legal, financial, etc.)
Highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter, able to operate independently and within a team
Excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills
Competent with all Microsoft Office programmes as well as experience of using Adobe creative suite applications and video editing software
Previous PR and events experience
Ideal but not essential a professional qualification from the CIM
Able to create engaging, scroll-stopping content
