An exciting opportunity to join a successful construction company in the western outskirts of Chichester, with on-site free parking.
You will be responsible for supporting the Finance Administrators in day to day duties including sales and purchase ledger, offering training and answering queries as needed. You will assist the Financial Controller with the production of management accounts and year end accounts, reconciling control accounts, KPI metric reporting, accruals and prepayments, journal entries and submission of monthly VAT and CIS returns.
It may also be beneficial if you can assist the Payroll Assistant with weekly and monthly payroll duties, if required, though this is not essential. You will answer accounts and invoicing queries from both corporate and public sector contract clients, and liaise with Auditors as needed.
You will need strong Excel skills, and any experience using COINS software would be an advantage. The company are ideally hoping for someone who has completed AAT Level 4 for this role, but may consider those qualified by experience, or those Part Qualified / Qualified CIMA/ACCA etc.
