Barker Ross are recruiting for an Assembly Fitter to work for our client based in Corby - On going - START ASAP
Working hours:
Monday-Thursday
8am-17pm
Friday
8am-16:30pm
Pay rate:
£11.50 per hour
Role:
The role requires preparation of parts for assembly. Assembly of sub-components and then sub-assemblies to complete the build of the finished product.
Suitable candidate should be comfortable with use of base hand tools, to bolt and screw together parts, use of power tools (angle grinder, press, pillar drill), pneumatic tools (drill, hand tap).
As some parts are heavy use of overhead crane is required to be operated.
You will need to be organised and able to work alone or part of a team. Working manner that ensures the safety of oneself and team.
Training and guidance will be provided to the right person. Forklift license would be a benefit but is not essential.
