An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Regional Care Manager to join an exclusive care provider who manages 7 nursing and residential care services, within Leicestershire and Derbyshire area.

Key duties:

To support the Home Manager to develop the staff team to obtain and sustain the necessary care skills and underpinning knowledge to manage the needs of residents.
The successful candidate will be an experienced people manager with excellent communication skills that is capable of leading and motivating a team.
The team is special and we are looking for a special person to lead by example.

Key Responsibilities of a Deputy Home Manager

First and foremost - we all work together as a team to enrich our residents' lives
Provide leadership to Management teams in order to ensure high quality service delivery and business outcomes.
Ensure the financial performance of the Services and support the maintenance of high levels of occupancy.
Oversee compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times.
Represent the Business vision, strategy and values and ensure that Managers do the same
Develop the performance of Managers, using the Competency Framework to ensure that all Managers are meeting expectations in terms of performance and behaviour Identifying and communicating opportunities for new business and business development/growth
Be a good role model for all employees, being optimistic, approachable and providing a regular presence and visibility as well as being consistent in all actions and decisions.
Ensure complaints and suggestions are positively actioned and dealt with correctly.
Lead culture change and build and sustain employee engagement

Deputy Home Manager Requirements:

Previous experience in multi-site management / Ability to manage a region
Show good proof of previous working relationships
Sound knowledge of CQC regulations, KLOE's and Agenda for Transformation
NVQ Level 5 or equivalent
This role would be suitable for a Service Manager, Care Manager, Regional Care Manager, Area Manager.
A current driving licence and the ability to travel will be needed
