Permanent Senior Accounts Assistant job in Angus, salary up to £30,000 DOE + 30 days holiday

Hays Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for a permanent Senior Accounts Assistant for their exclusive client based in Angus. Salary is £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience. This is a full time role with some flexibility around working hours. Due to location, it is essential you can drive.
Your new role
You will report directly into the Senior Bookkeeper and be responsible for finance across a number of divisions within the company. Your role will include liaising with other employees within the business as well as external customers and suppliers. You will be responsible for Bookkeeping to trial balance for multiple entities, Quarterly VAT Returns, Supplier Ledger Maintenance, processing BACS payments, Payroll (4 weekly), sales & purchase ledger and bank reconciliations. You will also be involved in various administrative duties and be confident in handling customer queries and ensuring files are kept up to date.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an experienced Senior Accounts assistant / bookkeeper and be confident in working in a standalone position. You will ideally have a background of working within agricultural, property or hospitality industry although this is not as essential. You MUST HAVE strong recent working experience within Sage.
