Scrum Master (Agile)

A Scrum Master with Agile experience is required to work on a 12-month contract (with the possibility of extension) for our defence client based in Christchurch.

This is a twelve-month contract with a leading UK defence company.

Overview of the Scrum Master (Agile) role

The team are looking to significantly increase the maturity of Agile and DevOps ways of working and this would be a key role to not only support the delivery of our work, but to help influence and guide the teams and business in the adoption and understanding of Agile.

Management of Sprints in accordance with Scrum Framework
Support of backlog creation and grooming
Running of daily Stand-Ups
Hold Sprint Planning Meetings, Sprint Demonstration and Sprint Retrospectives.
Obtaining buy-in and commitment from Sprint Team against the Sprint Plan
Planning of Sprints with the Sprint Team prior to the start of the Sprint in order to declare achievable Sprint goalsKey skills required for the Scrum Master (Agile)

Scrum Master certification (desirable)
Experience of running Scrum for software/infrastructure teams
Agile certification
JIRA & Confluence experience
