Job Details
I am currently working on behalf of a specialist care provider that is looking to appoint a Deputy Nurse Manager for a specialist service in Hartlepool which supports adults living with a learning disability, including individuals who have additional mental and physical ill-health and behaviours that may challenge. This is an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Manager who wants a project around culture change, but also within a national, reputable care company.
The CQC report is good, however they need a resilient and experienced nurse manager to improve staff morale and eliminate any preconceived ideas about the home from the previous owners.
Responsibilities of Deputy Nursing Home Manager:
In this role you will provide effective leadership to the service and will be a role model to your staff team. Your main focus would be to ensure the team provides safe, sound and supportive care to the people they support.
Working with the multi-disciplinary teams, family members, local authorities and regulatory bodies, you will have overall responsibility and accountability for the delivery of a high-quality service and promoting a positive culture.
£42,000
40 hours a week
Key requirements as Deputy Manager:
A track record of working with service users with learning disabilities
High expectations on delivery of person centred care, good standard of care writing, risk assessing and implementing change.
Qualified Nurse
Some of the benefits of this role include:
33 days annual leave
Fully paid training
Paid DBS
Free parking
Courtesy meals and refreshments whilst on shift
Shopping and entertainment discount scheme (over 800 retailers)
Cycle to Work scheme
Opportunities to progress and develop
If you are interested in the above position please apply, or for more information contact Jade Coleman at Domus Recruitment.
REFERRAL SCHEME:
We will reward you with £200 if you recommend a new candidate to us who is not already registered and we secure them a role for a minimum of 1 month. If you know anyone who is looking for work at the moment then please get in touch
