Our client is a US and UK based healthcare/biotech company that has recently completed a very successful IPO. The majority of the senior executives and co-founders are based in London, with a further team based in New York.

Description

We are currently seeking a qualified accountant to join the London finance team as the SEC Reporting and Compliance Manager, reporting to the Financial Controller. The London-based Finance team provides a centralised service for both the UK and US teams. The majority of this role will involve leading SEC filing requirements, including quarterly 6-K and annual 20-F filings, leading in audit reviews, supporting in FRS 102 financial statement preparation, and technical accounting matters in addition to taking ownership of SOx compliance, including ongoing process improvement. The role will require flexibility, strong attention to detail, and an entrepreneurial outlook.

Given the successful recent IPO, ambitious growth plans, and small HO team, all members of the Finance team can also expect broader involvement in all the ongoing activities of the business. This is a great opportunity to join a highly successful, well-funded, and ambitious team in what is a particularly interesting sector at the moment.

Skills

The successful candidate will likely have a strong academic background and will be a qualified Audit Manager from the Big 4 or other major accountancy public practice, with a proven track record of working on US-listed companies.
