Protocol are delighted to invite a skilled Construction and Built Environment Tutor and Assessor to work 2 days per week for a college based in South Yorkshire.

We are seeking candidates who are passionate about construction and have the drive and motivation to help learners to progress in their careers, increase their employability and support their personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background within construction roles, experience of training and assessing, and have strong organisational and communication skills in order to inspire and educate learners.

This position will be delivering HNC and HND in Construction and Built Environment on a Monday within a classroom setting. The other day would be assessing level 3s within the workplace on a day that best suits you!

Role responsibilities
The position involves assessing & supporting level 4/5 Construction apprentices in the work-place. Updating and developing their portfolios & carrying out on-site performance reviews. Using your report writing skills, you will maintain accurate records of student progress.

The person & qualifications
Assessors award
A level 5 qualification within a construction or built environment related field
Hold a teaching qualification
Experience delivering HNC and HND to construction learners
IQA award would preferably
