Global high tech FMCG business is now looking for motivated, multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers
24/7 12-hour shifts working a mixture of days and nights (4 On / 4 Off)
Must be Apprentice Trained - Educated to Level 3 City & Guilds
Training in PLC diagnostics a distinct advantage
Manufacturing / Industrial background with knowledge of Continuous Improvement techniques (5S, SMED, Lean and Six Sigma) an advantage
The ability to understand how things work, not just repair them
Mechanical and Electrically Biased Engineers Required to join this expanding company
The Production Maintenance Engineer will support and maintain all production and ancillary equipment, ensuring optimum production performance, minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring reliability through a proactive approach to maintenance. You will be responsible for the delivery of continuous improvement strategies and support / lead projects to improve equipment efficiencies.
Ideal candidates will should be multi-skilled professionals with either an electrical or mechanical bias used to working in a fast paced FMCG environment and who is adaptable and proactive in their approach.
You should be comfortable working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern rotating across nights and days and have an excellent attention to detail
