Are you a reliable and dedicated Maths teacher seeking work after half term or in January?
Would you like to work in a positive and thriving learning environment?

Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by a new and popular 11 to 18 secondary school in South West Essex to assist them in finding a qualified Maths Teacher to join their hard-working team of staff. The school could welcome someone after half term or from January. If an earlier start is preferred, KS5 teaching would be expected. This is an ongoing role with the school looking to appoint on a permanent basis.

As a new school, an Ofsted inspection is yet to be completed. However, the school is part of highly successful Trust with many schools being graded as 'Outstanding'. My contact was also extremely complimentary of their pupils' behaviour and attitudes towards learning. Stating that it has all the hallmarks of a private school.

Students are polite, courteous and supportive of each other. Maths was particularly highlighted as providing a rich and varied curriculum and sustaining a high level of education. The Mathematics department is well resourced and well allocated to ensure students of all abilities are successful in learning.

The successful Maths Teacher will be:
Familiar and confident with the planning and delivery of lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
A committed and reliable teacher dedicated to the role.
Consistently motivated to deliver engaging lessons to a high standard.
An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills.
A positive and personable role model for their class.

The school is easily accessible by car and public transport. There is amble park onsite for staff and its located a short walk from a nearby train station. Current staff commute from Essex as well as East London boroughs.
