Role - Assistant Accountant
Salary - £24,000 per annum

The ideal candidate will have previous experience within accounts and have either completed or are currently working towards an accountancy qualification. What will you be doing as an Assistant Accountant?
Setting up bank payments and completing bank reconciliations
Completing purchase orders and checking customer payments
Assisting with budgets and preparing financial documents
Processing business expenses
Loading BACS run for authorisation
Monthly depreciation journals and prepayments
Posting of invoices/creating invoices
Posting bonus journals
Resolving errors in financial reports
Overlooking credit controller to ensure debt is being chased and paid in a timely manner
Posting daily receipts
Overlooking accounts assistant to ensure invoices are being processed/authorised
Completion of VAT reports quarterly
Assisting in audit queries

Previous experience working within accounts
Previously worked within accounts for a car dealership
Completed or working towards an accountancy qualification
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
Easy transport routes from; Caversham, Emmer Green, Twyford, Tilehurst, Earley, Sonning Common, High Wycombe and Henley-on-Thames
