Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Full Agile Working, Derby Area, Fast Growing Company, Up to £150,000 i.e. £575 per day, 6 month contract with strong possibility to extend.

There solutions deliver best practice financial control processes and workflows that streamline monthly close cycles and provide reliable KPI data enabling companies to deliver best-practice financial reporting to their board and investors.

Duties of the CFO:

Lead, build and continuously improve the finance and wider business operations team (Finance, FP&A, Procurement) to deliver positive results across the company.

Take responsibility for ensuring the effective financial systems and processes are in place in order to meet all statutory and regulatory requirements, as well as reporting and planning the needs of the business.

Responsible for the provision of financial analysis so there is 'one version of the truth' across the business and in particular, partnering with the business to turn that analysis into wisdom

Partner with Sales and Business Development teams, to ensure that the company is 'easy to do business with' whilst protecting the interests of the company.

Continue to develop the compliance and risk management, including internal audit across all functions to balance the main 3 objectives of the business 1) Business Improvement, 2) Continued protection of the company and 3) Enhancing the service offering to the end customer

Own the relationships with the company bankers, debt providers and shareholders, as well as financial advisors including any fund-raising activities.

Parting with the CEO to be integral to the development of the company's strategic plans and their implementation, driving change and innovation across the business

Be the trusted advisor to the CEO and the wider leadership team, assisting with rigorous assessment of performance against financial and non-financial and future plans

Idea Experience:

Proven experience as a CFO ideally gained in a Technology or high growth organisation

Strong Commercial understanding - this role will need an individual that isn't just Finance focused as part of the position will work closely with the CEO to ensure that decision made positively impact the wider business.

Excellence knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

Ability to problem solve

Strong leadership and organisational skills (we aren't looking for someone that rules with an iron fist, we are looking for an individual that is a supportive management and will allow teams to grow without micromanagement

Excellent Communicator

Ideally educated to educated to degree level with a relevant Accountancy Qualification i.e. ACA
