New role for a Sage 200 Support Consultant for a permanent position working from home. You could live pretty much anywhere south of Birmingham (Gloucester is not relevant) as this is a home-based position with very occasional visits to head office in the South. This role is a terrific opportunity to join a leading and well-respected Sage 200 reseller. They spend ££'s on employee career development, training and certifications and they really look after their staff, their clients and their suppliers.

They will set you up with what you need for a home office and will pay up to £40k for a strong Sage 200 Support Analyst who also has experience of supporting some of the Sicon add-on products. Otherwise they are looking to pay £35-36k if you just have good Sage 200 Support. The more Sage software experience and add-ons from Sicon or Eureka you have, the better.

This is a dynamic company who specialise in only Sage 200 and Sage CRM plus add-ons and developer tools. Business here is going very well indeed, and they need an additional Sage 200 Support Consultant to join their busy team.

Skills wise, you will need to have at least 2 years' experience in a Sage 200 Support role. Working from home will of course require you to be motivated, well-organised and a self-starter, but also gives you freedom and no commuting or travel costs. It may suit you to work remotely to fit in with family needs, or even your pets. They have other Support Consultants and Software Implementation Consultants who work remotely, so they are accustomed to managing remote staff.

You will report to the Support Manager and will be part of a small, professional and proactive team, who support a large, loyal Sage 200 customer base and you will be able to interact with them remotely. The nature of each call is varied from simple fixes through to complex problems which could involve replicating the client's whole system and finding a solution. You will work through the entire support life cycle from start to finish, escalating problems where necessary. Whilst this role is home based, you will still be able to build strong relationships and loyalty with your clients.

Size wise, they are around a dozen people, they have been in business for over 25 years and are very profitable. They are very strong on Sage 200 development and add-ons.

They are looking for someone who loves supporting and helping clients, has good problem-solving skills, and is professional in their approach with a friendly manner. You will be someone who is not afraid of hard work and is happy to be independent working from your home office. Previous experience working in a remote Sage 200 Support role would be fantastic.
