Job Details

Our client has a vacancy with an immediate start for a Conveyancing Administration Assistant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate an interest in pursuing a legal career or working within a legal environment. The working hours of the role will be Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.15pm.

The role will entail:

* Opening and closing files;

* Providing quotes;

* Attending to incoming and outgoing post;

* Updating database with relevant file information;

* Photocopying, printing and scanning

* Obtaining searches and replies to property questionnaires;

* Using Case Management System, Land Registry Portal, SDLT, Outlook, Excel etc;

* Liaising with clients, estate agents and solicitors;

* Obtaining title deeds, Land Registry title and plans;

* Registration of title and dispatch of deeds to lender and client;

* Printing and collating documents

* Preparing Contract documentation;

* Assist with preparation of Completion Statements and assist with completing transactions;

* Tea/Coffee making when required;

* To ensure the office is kept tidy;

* To cover reception, post and bank duties as and when required.

The appropriate candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

* Basic computer skills (including working knowledge of Microsoft Word);

* Adaptability/flexibility;

* Organisation and prioritisation;

* Accuracy and attention to detail;

* Discretion;

* Professional telephone manner and good people skills;

* Pro-activity.
