1 to 1 Teaching Assistant Needed in Ilkeston
We are looking to recruit individuals who can work on a 1 to 1 basis with mixed emotional needs in Ilkeston. You must have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and in a primary school setting.
All applicants must be NVQ Level 2/3 qualified or equivalent and have a minimum of 6 months' experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities.
You must have sound knowledge of working in a variety of roles with children with special needs as this role will require the successful candidates to be very flexible. You must able to plan your own sessions and track the child's progress carefully.
The role will include:
Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation
Work with the students who require additional support
Leading group work
Helping the class teacher with pupil observations
