Sometimes real super heroes live in the hearts of young people fighting big battles. Every student has the ability to learn, just not on the same day, or in the same way.

We are currently looking to recruit a teacher of Music Technology to support young people placed in a secure residential home. Are you passionate about making music and looking to help improve the lives of young people? I am looking for a fun, kind and caring teacher to help young people achieve their goals and dreams. You will need to be confident with behaviour management and have QTS.

You will mainly be working 1-1 and in small groups with young people between the ages of 11 - 18.

Your responsibilities:
-Managing challenging behaviour
-Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience of all pupils
-Working with small groups and 1:1
-Liaising with fellow colleagues to get the most out of your pupils' development
-Supporting children to learn both in the classroom and out in the community
-Engage learners creativity to produce music using digital platforms

Your Requirements:
-A caring and thoughtful personality
-Experience working or volunteering with SEN/SEMH/EBD pupils
-DBS on the update service, support can be provided for this
