Link3 are recruiting for an experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant required to start in November 2020 to work in a Primary School located in Bulwell, Nottingham.

The role requires offering 1:1 to a student with severe Autism requirements while working closely alongside the classroom teacher with planning, assessments and the child's progress. This role is due to commence in September 2020 and will initially be for one term, there is a view to be extended dependant on the correct candidate and available funding. We are seeking a well rounded individual that would be confident working with a variety of scenario's.

A good sense of humour, the ability to relate and communicate well with young people are essential.

As a minimum, all applicants must have; Minimum Level 2 or above in childcare/teaching and learning or have had previous experience of working as a teaching assistant with experience of working 1:1 with children with special needs. Have a positive approach to managing behaviour and be passionate about your subject which is evident in your teaching. Applicants will be subject pre-employment checks and should hold current DBS check registered to the update service.
