Privacy Analyst - FMCG/Fashion Retailer
Our client is a fast-paced multi-national fashion retailer, employing more than 20,000 staff across all its subsidiaries. As they continue to innovate and invest in digital transformation, they are looking to hire a Privacy Analyst to join their growing team, to help the business transition through this important period.
Responsibilities
* Investigate and respond to incidents, customer privacy queries and complaints
* Maintaining the accuracy of the PIA and Vendor module of One Trust
* Review and analyse multiple PIAs of all sizes, working to deadlines and collaborating with a diverse range of business areas at any given time
* Preparing, managing and reporting on monthly statistics, identifying trends and conducting root cause analyses to improve their processes
* Processing SARS and individual rights requests from customers, and conducting/reviewing Vendor Data Protection Due Diligence
* Develop/maintain strong communication lines with key contacts within departments throughout the business (incl. Customer Care, IT, Logistics etc.)
* Assist in maintaining the Group's Article 30 Record of Processing activity
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years experience working in practical application of data protection law
* An understanding and detailed knowledge of the Data Protection Act 2018, the GDPR and PECR and the implications for businesses
* Data Protection qualifications/certifications (such as CIPP/E) are desirable
