A wonderful Alternative Provision based in the Barnet area is seeking to recruit a highly resilient graduate Behaviour Mentor, ASAP!

Working 1:1 in classrooms with KS3-KS4 students, the successful Behaviour Mentor will be able to earn the respect of the students through well-honed interpersonal abilities. At the same time, the successful Behaviour Mentor will be able to develop highly successful working relationships with the students' families and your colleagues throughout the school.

Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant, Barnet - The Person:

·Must be a Graduate, or a SEMH Behaviour Mentor with experience

·It is essential that you are reliable, composed, personable, calm, resilient and patient

·Strong interpersonal skills are required for this role!

·The Behaviour Mentor role is ideal for aspiring/experienced Social Workers and Youth Workers etc.

Behaviour Mentor / Teaching Assistant, Barnet - The Role:

·Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team

·Working with school students who have been excluded from mainstream education

·KS3-KS4 classes (Years 7-11)

·Working on improving the students' learning and social habits - either 1:1 or in small groups

·Proactively dealing with behavioural issues and the related root causes

·Full-time, long-term until at least the e/o July 2021

·£70-£90 per day plus a £675 per year healthcare Package
