Are you looking for a new opportunity? Do you want to make a difference to the early stages of education?
I am working with a school in the Sandwell area who are looking for an Intervention Teacher to take a small group of children to help and give an extra push on numeracy and literacy. The successful candidate will need to have a calm and gentle teaching style. The successful candidate will also need to be flexible as the hours will fluctuate.
As an Intervention Teacher, you are expected to:
Plan, mark and deliver lessons specific for your group.
Be able to adapt teaching styles to suit the needs of each individual pupil
Hold an NQT/QTS qualification
Have had experience teaching
Have excellent, up to date knowledge of the National Curriculum
Provide the best level of support to pupils
Manage the classroom behaviour, keeping disruption to a minimum
Have had experience working with children who have additional needs
The school will be interviewing in November. You will be expected to attend a trail day.
