FPGA Engineer (Recent Electronics Graduates considered)
My Dundee-based client is a successful SME in the aerospace engineering sector, which designs network technology for use on-board spacecraft. This innovative and ambitious business provides electronic test and development equipment and chip designs for spaceflight applications.
To meet growing demand, they now seek to expand their research and development team to work on new products related to spacecraft on-board data-handling and avionics networks. They're looking for a talented FPGA Engineer- not necessarily with previous space/avionics experience- to join their team in a diverse and technically interesting role.
They will consider people from a range of experience levels, so whether you only have limited/no industry experience or are a senior/principle engineer, I'd like to hear from you, so long as you have had exposure to FPGA design in some capacity from university and/or industry.
The successful FPGA Design Engineer will ideally have experience in some of the following areas:
* Knowledge about FPGA Design Flow and FPGA Design Challenges
* simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, P&R, board level integration and verification
* FPGA design using VHDL, Xilinx, Verilog
* Analogue and digital electronic circuits
* Experience of high-speed digital circuit design
