Management Accountant job with a housing association in Manchester paying up to £18 per hour.

My client is a housing association in Manchester. Due to continued growth of the organisation they are recruiting this role on a temporary basis initially but this could go permanent for the right candidate, an immediate start is required due to a large increase in workload.
Your new role
As a Management Accountant you will be responsible for producing the management accounts for the group and also the subsidiaries within the group, which you will then consolidate for the board pack and provide commentary on this. You will have regular contact with budget holders and key stakeholders and will be required to discuss budgets with them so good communication skills are essential for this role. Another key part of the role is forecasting and being able to flex the forecasts for year-end, as the business needs to know where they are heading towards and what further acquisitions they will be able to take on to grow and develop.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have previous experience of monthly management accounts preparation in order to instantly add value in this role, and will be competent in forecasting. You will be towards the end of studying either CIMA or ACCA and will be keen to progress with your studies and within the company. Previous experience working in a housing association would be advantageous to your application.
