Our client is currently looking to recruit an Interim Communications Consultant on an initial 5 month contract.

The successful candidate will have public sector experience (ideally NHS) and be experienced providing consultancy support on both strategic projects and day to day activities.This role will be based from home, however with occasional attendance on site in Birmingham / Solihull and will be based inside IR35.


•Professional support on internal communications campaigns such as that for the flu vaccination campaign, the staff survey and the launch of the clients strategy

•Advice and guidance on developing the communications associated with the clients cultural development, e.g., developing a culture of safety, inclusivity etc.

•Support with external communications, especially media enquiries

•Support with communications relating to COVID-19 communications

•Website and intranet development

•Development of the clients communications strategy

•Support the design, development and implementation of a new operating model for the Communications and Marketing function

•Explore the opportunities to work more closely with communications partners.

•Provide cover in the absence of the Head of Communications and Marketing function.
