Deputy Manager (Nurse) - Lowestoft NR33 - £45,000.00 - £50,000.00 - 40 hours a week
We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager (Nurse qualified is essential) to work 40 hours per week - split shifts including weekends and on call. The starting salary will be up to £45,000 plus (possibly to £50k) per annum (neg).
Working in a Modern care home specialising in the care of older people, our professional standards are high. We employ experienced Senior Carers and Care Assistants, who continue their professional development with further training to ensure that we provide 24 hour professional support.
Please note that you must have a Nursing Qualification (Active PIN) and at least 2 years experience of managing in a Care Home environment.

Key Responsibilities
- To act as the person in charge of the home in the absence of the Manager ensuring that legislation is adhered to and standards are maintained.
- To assist the Home Manager in handling residents' personal finances ensuring confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- To provide the highest level of personal care and attention to residents, following individual care plans carefully and ensuring that all contact is polite, friendly, warm and supportive.
- To be an active and encouraging senior member of the Care team, responsible for running team meetings, ensuring good communication and leading the induction and training of newly appointed care assistants, ensuring that the Care Home is a friendly and supportive working environment.
