Newly created opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join the UK Division of an International Group based in Warrington. It is an ideal opportunity for a Big 4/Top 10 trained ACA qualified first time mover, where you will join the business during an exciting period of change. The role requires an ambitious, driven accountant who enjoys making changes, adding value and having an real impact on the performance of the finance team. Below is an outline of the key responsibilities of the role, however, there is plenty of opportunity to get involved in other projects/areas of finance as there is 'lots to be done', requiring a proactive, open-minded, highly motivated and flexible person. mentor a trainee accountant and enjoy a good working environment, including flexible working hours and early finishes on a Friday! This is a fast-moving role so apply now for immediate consideration.

- Preparation, completion and review of month end accounts including group reporting and core entry
- Maintaining the accuracy and integrity of each legal entities accounting records
- Ensure Compliance with finance policies and procedures within the business area
- Supporting and implementing new processes and improving current procedures including management of ICS controls
- Review the control environment with autonomy to make improvements and changes
- Assisting with the group year end and half year financial statements and associated disclosures
- VAT/Tax preparation and submission and liaise with advisors
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Maintenance of the transfer pricing information
- Maintenance of Risks & Opportunities register/risk tool
- Overhead analysis reporting and follow up
- Approval and ownership of balance sheet recs including development of overall process
- Work with HR/Payroll for ECITB claims
- Responsible for external audit including tracking and distribution of requests and providing information where appropriate
