An exciting vacancy has arisen to work within the District Nursing Service in Angus.
The above post offers an excellent opportunity for a Nurse with Specialist Practitioner Qualification in Community Nursing in the Home/Diploma in District Nursing .to work with other Team Leaders and to lead District Nursing Teams in the South East Locality in Angus.
You will play a key role in the leadership and development of these District Nursing teams and will work in close partnership with colleagues across the IJB toachieve the objectives of the Angus Health & Social Care Partnership Strategic Plan, ensuring an integrated approach to the delivery of compassionate care.Being an open, honest, approachable and responsible individual with an attitude to support excellent team working will be essential as will understanding how to develop, grow and nurture strong interpersonal relationships. These will be critical values and qualities which will develop and drive high performance to ensure the delivery of the best care experience possible.
A key objective will be to support the design and delivery of new models and pathways of care within the services.
This is a demanding specialist role, requiring high levels of professional skills to work effectively across a complex and competing multi-agency environment, where partnership working is essential. Excellent communication skills, collaborative leadership and highly developed interpersonal skills are a pre requisite to meeting all of the above.
