Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a public sector client based in Sheffield to recruit an interim Event Support Officer for an initial period of 5 months.
The successful Event Officer will work as part of an established and successful team to help support in the organisation and administration off all events which are currently taking place on online due to Covid19.
Your role will include:
*Booking venues and/or setting up events online to ensure event are delivered on time and to budget
*Developing robust GDPR compliant procedures to email attendees and track attendance at sessions
*Support full life cycle with events to improve diary management and speaker requests etc
*Working collaboratively to track event feedback in order to understand audiences and help shape future events
*Work closely with the communications team to ensure events are communicated consistently and in line with overall communication plans
*Assist in the development of presentations for events, ensuring consistency in comms, brand and style guidelines
What specific technical knowledge and competencies does the Job Holder require?
*Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to priorities, adapt and respond to request quickly and accurately
*Administrative support to a high standard, meticulous with a keen eye for detail
*Communication is key, we are keen to speak with individuals who can build relationships at all levels both internal and externally
*Competent and confident with technology, including Microsoft Teams and other Video call/conferencing platforms
*Proficient using excel and a vigorous approach to data management
