Faculty / Directorate
By joining our faculty, you will help prepare and develop entrant professionals joining the criminal justice system with the knowledge and expertise to make a significant difference to lives, communities and society. The Division of Community and Criminal Justice is part of the School of Applied Social Sciences, one of four specialist schools, also including Leicester School of Allied Health Sciences, Leicester School of Nursing and Midwifery, and Leicester School of Pharmacy.
Role
We are looking to recruit two permanent Lecturers/Senior Lecturers in Policing and Investigations in the Division of Community and Criminal Justice to join our growing team. The role will be focused on delivering the Policing and Investigations undergraduate programmes. Typically, your teaching duties will include preparation and delivery of lectures and seminars, supervision of final year projects, contributing to the personal tutoring scheme, and the devising and marking of assessments.
Ideal Candidate
You will hold a postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline and have higher education teaching experience in the field of policing, investigations or related areas. You will be able to demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all members of the University community. You will share DMU's passion to provide an outstanding and inclusive experience for all of its students.
